JBS Global UK is proud to have been involved with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) since 2017 under the BRC Agents and Brokers Global Standard, having been approved as meeting the Global Standard in 2017 and awarded AA Grades, the highest possible grade in both 2018 and 2019.

All JBS supplier factories are certified under the BRC Food Safety Standard. The BRC Agents and Brokers Standard covers food safety, legality and quality. The grade criteria are established according to the number and type of nonconformities found during the audit. To be awarded AA there must be fewer than five minor non-conformities.

The technical content of the Global Standards is governed by a Technical Advisory Committee and there is an additional steer from two International Advisory Boards based in Europe and North America.
