JBS Dinmore ramps up beef production following $77M investment

JBS Australia is ramping up production at Dinmore, Queensland – the largest beef plant in the southern hemisphere.

A second shift comprising 300 new team members has just commenced at JBS Australia’s Dinmore, Queensland plant to meet growing demand for quality beef products in the domestic and international markets. In total, 500 new employees will be hired with overall plant employee numbers exceeding 1800 people when the second shift is operating at full capacity.

Brent Eastwood, CEO of JBS Australia, said: “Our investments in Dinmore underscore our commitment to not only producing superior quality, but also creating meaningful employment opportunities and contributing to the local economy”.

Welcoming the move, JBS Global (UK) Managing Director, Nick Sherwood added: “Dinmore is home to our popular Queenslander and Aberdeen Black brands. We welcome our new colleagues and look forward to introducing JBS Aussie Beef to more UK and EU Customers.”
